Capgemini Mexico is seeking a skilled L2 Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in technical support and a strong background in system troubleshooting and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor system health and proactively address potential issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents using SQL (PL/SQL), Unix commands, and Shell scripts.
Read and debug Java code to identify root causes and support resolution.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement fixes and improvements.
Follow ITIL processes including Incident Management, Service Management, and Knowledge Management.
Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
3–9 years of experience in L2 production support roles.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
Proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL), Unix, and Shell scripting.
Ability to read and debug Java code.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work in shifts or extended hours when needed.
